Performance Groups

LUU BandSoc is a society dedicated to the promotion of live music, bands and solo artists in and around Leeds.

We organise gigs in the University and around Leeds while providing musicians with the neccesary contacts to form bands and facilities/equipment to get to a gig standard.

So why get membership?

- It costs a tiny £3 to join.

- Membership provides you with cheaper or free entry to our events.

- It allows access to our database of bandsoc musicians and gives you the best opportunity to meet like-minded people to form bands with.

- Bands can use our free practice area in the union, gear provided.

- We will keep you up to date with latest events, promoter and venue information, tips and general goings on through our mailing list and newsletter.

- You will receive discounted membership of the Union Music Library as Bandsoc members.

- Bandsoc members also have access to Bandsoc's high quality gigging equipment including guitar amps, bass amp, mics, leads, 1000w PA system, drum kits, keyboards (w/ sustain pedal)
