Music Theatre

About Us

The Music Theatre Society (MT) boasts a history of professional, high-quality shows with intimate casts of circa 10-20 performers.  We produce two musicals every year, with a focus on exploring new musicals or less well-known musicals.

Most recently  MT has staged: Fresher The Musical, Rent, Spring Awakening and The Wedding Singer and most recently SWEENEY TODD!

We believe every member should be given the chance to reach their full dramatic potential, and so we give individual attention to every performer with an equal emphasis placed on singing, acting and dancing.

How you can get involved:

AGM - Music Theatre's AGM (Annual General Meeting) will be held on Thursday 15th March at 17:00. ALL PAID MEMBERS ONLY are eligable to attend and vote on 2012-13 commitee and show proposals. For more information please email luumusictheatre@hotmail.co.uk.

AUDITIONS for our May cabaret will be coming up soon! Please email Music Theatre for more details!

SWEENEY TODD - Sweeney Todd was a HUGE success with two sell out nights and an extremely satisfied audience! CONGRATULATIONS to all involved and to those who came to support!

We are always looking for budding Directors, Musical Directors, Producers and actors - if you are interested in being a part of MT in any way shape or form please do not hesitate to contact us at the email above!

We look forward to seeing you soon!
