Internal Vacancies
We recognise that not everyone wants to stay in the same job forever. It’s completely natural to want to develop; whether this is taking on more in your role, taking the next step up or even changing direction completely. That’s why whenever we have a new job opportunity become available in any area of the organisation we want to make sure that you know about it.
There are a number of ways you can do this:
Visit the ‘ChangeBoard’ – a noticeboard displaying all current job opportunities within LUU and other national student unions. The changeboard can be found past reception on the ground floor on the left-hand wall before the events office.
Read the weekly LUU-mail. This email is sent to all monthly and weekly paid staff every Monday and as well as other LUU news, includes recently published job adverts.
Regularly check LUU’s recruitment website pages. This is where all live vacancies are advertised to the general public for a minimum period of two weeks.
Let your manager and HR know! They may be able to help you develop yourself further to gain any new skills you need and can help you keep an eye out for new opportunities.
